Kinesiology tape is available in both rolls and pre-cut applications. While home users generally prefer the precut format because of its ease of application, kinesiology tape by the roll is still extensively used in chiropractic offices, therapy clinics and other healthcare settings. There, specialists with training in kinesiology taping design and application can custom cut applications based on each individual's body size or specific needs. 

Purchasing kinesiology tape by the roll is generally more economical than purchasing precut kinesiology tape. Rolls are 16.4' long and 2" wide, typically allowing for several applications from each roll of tape. Discounts are available for purchasing rolls in quantities of 6 or more.
