These mini-strips by KT Tape are 2" wide x 5" long. Each strip is perforated longitudinally from one end. Tearing the tape along the perforation creates a mini Y-strip with a 1.5 inch anchor and two 3.5 inch tails. These small Y-strips are perfect for areas such as the hand, wrist, foot, or neck, and can also be used for a wide variety of pediatric applications. The I-configuration is ideal for point-pain applications, on its own or in combination with 10" or 18" strips. To create a point-pain application, tear the backing across the middle and peel back toward each end. Stretch the exposed area of tape, and apply directly over a hot spot, trigger point or muscle spasm. To prevent skin irritation, be sure to apply the final 1" of each end with no stretch in the tape. Precut kinesiology tape strips require no cutting or measuring. With machine cut edges and rounded corners, applications last longer with less fraying and curling than hand-cut applications.
